5 Element Acupuncture

What Makes 5 Element Acupuncture Unique?
In Five Element Acupuncture, my goal is to address the root cause of any imbalances in your body and mind.
I may ask about your early childhood, as emotional disturbances often originate during this period. Experiences of shock or trauma in our younger years can cloud our perception, leading to emotional disharmony and imbalances that affect both the body and mind.
Through careful observation and questioning—along with pulse assessment and evaluation of Colour, Sound, Emotion, and Odor—I can identify which organ(s) are out of balance.
Based on this, I create a personalized treatment plan with specific acupuncture points to help restore the proper flow of qi (energy).
By addressing the imbalanced Element, the organs naturally realign and regain harmony.
Below are the elements with associated organs.
- Wood: Liver (Yin), Gallbladder (Yang)
- Fire: Heart (Yin), Small Intestine (Yang), Pericardium & San Jiao
- Earth: Spleen (Yin), Stomach (Yang)
- Metal: Lungs (Yin), Large Intestine (Yang)
- Water: Kidneys (Yin), Bladder (Yang)

As well as organs, each element has a particular colour, sound, emotion, and odour.
There are also seasons, climates and sense organs etc.
Five element theory brings the nature we see outside ourselves and brings it in to nurture the body.
Come and have a nourishing five element treatment, where I will help you balance your emotions, quiet the mind, and restore balance to the body.
